IPCC, COP, AR5, Kyoto Protocol, Paris Agreement, UNFCCC:

What is behind the abbreviations and how do you make agreements with 196 countries?

Christ worked for the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) from 2004 to 2015. She was in charge of the overall management and coordination of the various activities of the IPCC. Her aim was to ensure that all relevant scientific dimensions are addressed, that views and knowledge from all regions of the world are adequately reflected and that IPCC Reports respond to the information needs of policy makers.

In 2007 the IPCC members, among them Christ, received the nobel peace price together with Al Gore. Before 2004 she worked for the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and as national expert for the European Commission.
