Position: Postdoctoral Researcher in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Qualifications:

• A Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Strong research background in biochemistry and molecular biology with a focus on metalloproteins and bioenergetic enzymes
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated track record of peer reviewed scientific publications.
• Excellent English level, German would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including bioinformaticians and other researchers.
• Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Present research at conferences and seminars.
• Assist in grant writing and research proposal development.
• Aid in students’ supervision

Benefits: The salary for this full-time position will be according to the Collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc)
