Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Strong research background in biochemistry and molecular biology with a focus on metalloproteins and bioenergetic enzymes
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated track record of peer reviewed scientific publications.
- Excellent English level, German would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including bioinformaticians and other researchers.
- Design and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research at conferences and seminars.
- Assist in grant writing and research proposal development.
- Aid in students’ supervision
Benefits: The salary for this full-time position will be according to the Collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc)
