Joost van Ham from the University of Lund, Sweden, successfully defended his Master Thesis entitled "Evolution of the aerobic iron oxidation metabolism", supervised by Dr. Filipa Sousa.
Dr. Lokeshwaran Manoharan, an alumni of our group, was the opponent during the examination, and we're sure he asked some tricky questions!
