In order to help covering travel expenses, the International Society for Microbial Ecology (ISME) awards travel grants to young scientists journeying to ISME17. The 17th meeting of ISME is taking place 12-17 August, 2018, in Leipzig, Germany.
Andrea Söllinger was able to secure such funding that is made available only to first and presenting authors of abstracts submitted to the symposium.
