The European Molecular Biology Laboratory announced on May 14th, 2018, that 62 outstanding life scientists have been elected to its membership, joining a group of more than 1800 of the best researchers in Europe and around the world.
Among them were four researchers working in Austria:
Christa Schleper from the University of Vienna, Leonid Sazanov from the Institute of Science and Technology (IST) Austria in Klosterneuburg (NÖ), Kikue Tachibana from the Institute for Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and Manuel Zimmer from the Institute for Molecular Pathology (IMP).
