"Hyperthermophilic methanogenic archaea act as high-pressure CH4 cell factories"

Mauerhofer et al. examine 80 species of methanogenic archaea at pressures up to 50 bar identifying M. igneus and M. jannaschii as high-pressure methane cell factories.
