Graeme Nicole is a microbial ecologist, CNRS Director of Research and professor at the Université de Lyon, France. His research focuses on understanding of the role of soil prokaryotes in soil nitrogen transformations using a combination of constructive microcosm, soil biogeochemistry, molecular ecology, metagenomic and cultivation approaches.
